Sunday October 4th – Saturday 10th October COUNTDOWN TO OXJAM BRIXTON: An evening without electricity Switch it off and switch on to a wildly entertaining evening where candle light is the lighting of choice and entertainment is provided by a bit of creative ingenuity. During the week beginning October 4th, the challenge set by Oxjam Brixton is to spend the evening without electricity and have fun in the process. Ideas include: candlelight fondu suppers, picnics in the dark and board game battles. Photos of the experience should be sent to oxjamsouthlondoncb@googlemail.com.
